Travel Clubs and Timeshares are required by law to send a copy of your purchase agreement home with you. Which includes a document that tells you how to cancel your purchase and how much time you have to do this and have your money refunded.
A few years ago Resorts gave you a tablet with your purchase, these had the contract copies on it. But who is going to turn it on and look for the paperwork within the few days you have to rescind your purchase. Especially if they failed to mentioned the contracts were on the tablet.
Now they have come out with another way to keep you from waking up and realize you made a mistake, below is pictures from Westgate Resorts. They have a secret compartment where they stash your contract copies that you don't realize it's there. But by law, they sent the copies home with you.
Check your book, then check it again if you weren't given hard copies in your hand.
